A Thought About Sin and Deliverance

“Sin is not just an act. It’s a power and we need deliverance from that power.”
Pastor Jim Bradford of Central Assembly in Springfield, Missouri, shared this statement in his Resurrection Sunday message, “Early One Morning.”
Easter Sunday always sees many unchurched and unbelievers attend. For many it will be the only service of the year they attend. So they need to hear the truth of the gospel.
Pastor Bradford also shared how that deliverance was possible. “He [Jesus] was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification” (Rom. 4:25, NIV).
What a powerful truth. Christ is risen. … He is risen indeed!
