Couple Says No to Abortion; Healthy Baby Born

Another Strike Against Abortion

The doctors said he would be born deaf, blind and only live a few hours. But Becky and Kriss Kramer of South Wales said no and their son Brandon was born healthy last October.
Doctors urged them to abort their baby; they said he would be born with a rare disease.
But the couple ignored the doctors’ advice and the dreaded disease did not appear when the child was born.
“The fact that he is here now, alive and kicking, truly is a miracle,” Kriss Kramer, 24, told the Daily Mail.
“I feel incredibly guilty thinking that I could have killed him,” said Becky Kramer, 23, “and then I find myself wondering how many other babies are killed who would have turned out to be completely healthy.”
This is one more strong bit of evidence that shows that aborting infants who doctors say will be born handicapped is wrong. Of course, Christians know that aborting a child because he or she may not be perfect physically is wrong to begin with. But this incident shows us that doctors should not be in a position to play God with the life of a tiny human being.
The slogan is right: “Choose life.” Thankfully that’s what the Kramers did.
