“Your Sin Will Find You Out” … 2008-Style

The AP reported an interesting story today that gives a 2008 spin to the Bible’s warning “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Num. 32:23).
An elated video gamer, 29, in Delhi, La., called his friend to say, “I have killed them all”
(in the video game).
Problem was, he called a wrong number, alarming the woman he mistakenly called. She called police and, because of caller ID, was able to give them his number.
The police quickly ascertained the situation and so did not charge the man regarding the mistake.
However, in the process of identifying him, they discovered a 5-year-old warrant on him in Baton Rouge on a possession of cocaine charge, leading to his arrest.
This wouldn’t have happened before caller ID.
“Be sure your sin will find you out.” It just finds you out in different ways in 2008.
