Missionary Gary Miller Honored
By Ken Horn | January 20, 2008
Gary Miller and I attended Bethany College of the Assemblies of God together … many years ago. After Bethany, Gary and his wife, Connie, followed the Lord onto the mission field, serving, among other places, in Costa Rica and Belize. Through the years, as he itinerated, he came to preach at the churches I pastored.
Two years ago, Gary went to be with the Lord, leaving behind many who loved him, and many whose lives he had impacted for eternity.
In October, Connie and other family attended the dedication of the Gary Miller Technical Center, a school in Belize named in Gary’s honor. Gary’s ministry also goes on as Connie, working through her own grieving process, has been led to help others who are going through grief.
I was privileged to be Gary’s friend. I praise God for the impact he made on the Kingdom, and I am glad for the honor that has been bestowed upon him.
Faithful missionaries are still my heroes. And Gary Miller is on my list.
